The fun sports performance talk for players, parents and coaches improving the standard of community and grassroots football

Welcome to the Sports Performance talk developed by former Professional Footbal Physiotherapist Paul Gough and featuring experienced Premier League Football star Craig Hignett, designed for players, coaches and parents of grassroots football teams and academies.

This two hour talk is a fun and informal discussion, simplifying a number of the often overlooked and confusing factors likely to limit or reduce performance and includes a slide show presentation of advice and video footage of recommended stretching routines and coaching drills and more.

The content of the talk draws upon the latest medical research available on improving sports performance (presented in a very simplified manner) and a real life account of life in the English Premier League with stories of how some of the biggest names in world football prepare and recover their bodies to ensure optimum performance is achieved.

As well as fun, this sports talk is intended to be educational and is based largely around the physio room experiences of Paul Gough, who whilst treating numerous community and grassroots level footballers has faced many questions from confused players, parents and coaches alike, all wanting to know the best way to improve performance and speed up recovery from injury. The content of the talk is drawn largely from the most common and frequent questions asked.

The Aim of 'Feel Great for Sport'
