Kayla is our General Manager for Paul Gough Physio Rooms, after working at a national gym change she decided that she wanted a change and work with a smaller team!
Kayla was born in Germany and has spent her early life travelling and living in different countries, learning about their cultures, making an effort to learn new languages and meet new people.
Tip: Did you know that as well as attending and teaching different exercise classes, Kayla is an avid baker? Ask her about her latest creations!
Paul is the owner and CEO of the Paul Gough Physio Rooms and a Amazon No. 1 Bestselling Author with his 'The Healthy Habit'.
Paul has worked with some of the nation's favourite football teams, from Darlington Football Club to England and everything in-between (including USA based soccer camps and Australia Elite Sporting Academy). He works extensively with his physios and spends large amounts of his time ensuring our treatment plans are bespoke to each of our patients - making physiotherapy so effective.
Paul had a regular column with both the Hartlepool Mail and Northern Echo, and was a regular panellist on the BBC - his most popular columns are available to see on the clinic walls!
Paul is a very proud Dad of 3 beautiful boys, Harry, Greyson and Tobias.
Tip: Ask Paul about his new book on Amazon, titled "The Healthy habit" - there's something in there for everyone!
Jonny is the Senior Physiotherapist at Paul Gough Physio Rooms and has been with us since 2013. Before working at the Physio Rooms, Jonny worked in professional football in India and left to be part of our team.
Jonny is a dad to twins and a little girl, so he always has his biggest sidekicks next to him when it comes to adventures! They love exploring new places together!
Tip: Did you know that Jonny loves running and football? Ask him about the latest match!
Following a 3-year course at Teesside University, and after she spent two placements with us while at University, we are really pleased to have Phoebe on board.
Phoebe grew up in Hong Kong and Singapore, and jokes that she has plenty of experience of physio treatment after playing rugby, football, volleyball and running.
“This is what I’ve wanted to do since I was 12,” she smiled. “It’s nice to come through University and have a job. The chance to work for Paul Gough is a positive thing and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get to know our patients.
I had a favourite physio in Hong Kong, a multi-practitioner, who did a bit of everything and treated people individually. It wasn’t case of general treatment it was all designed for someone’s needs and that’s what excites me about our clinics. It’s a great team here to work for and I’m already learning so much."
Tip: Ask Phoebe about her time spent in Hong Kong and Singapore
George is one of our physiotherapists who joined after graduating from Teesside University, and came to Paul Gough Physio Rooms because of the treatment options available, and our holistic, multi-model approach which involves more personal interaction with patients.
Outside of the clinic, George likes to keep fit with kickboxing and trial biking! George started trial biking when he was about 10 years-old and began competing locally.
“It’s a great laugh and a top day out. On the entry form, you have to say if you want a trophy or cash when you win – I always go for a trophy….. but I’ve yet to win one yet!
The exercise part of it is great and it’s fun getting the better of some of my mates as well.”
Tip: George regularly gets glowing feedback from patients in clinic, and regularly takes part in creating our YouTube videos.
Chelsie is one of our Patient Services Assistants here at Paul Gough Physio Rooms.
Chelsie loves to ski, a motocross fan and is an avid photographer. During our renovation of the Hartlepool clinic in April 2022, Chelsie played a vital part with her interior design expertise.
Tip: Ask Chelsie for ideas if you are redecorating your home, and tap into her interior design knowledge!
Jade is one of our therapists here at Paul Gough Physio Rooms and has been with us since 2019.
Jade's love for dancing is what inspired her to get into Physiotherapy, and she continues to dance whilst working... which is a great way to stay active!
Tip: If you have children or grandchildren who are wanting to start with dancing, ask Jade for some advice on the best ways to get into dance.
Claire is one of our Patient Services Assistants here at Paul Gough Physio Rooms.
Claire knows how important quality family time is, and regularly speaks to parents and grandparents at our clinic who have to miss out on fun family activities because of niggling injuries, and aches. Claire likes to keep fit by running, and spending time in the gym.
Tip: Ask Claire what fun adventure she has been up to with her kids!
