The longest serving member of the Better Health Team. Vicki's voice is most likely to be the one that will greet you when you call us and she's the one in charge - it might be Paul's name above the door here at P.G.P.R, but this is the girl who really runs the show!
Paul picked Vicki in the summer of 2009 after working for many years at a dental practice in Hartlepool. Vicki's sincerity and warmth have proved to be very popular with our patients and she is now the go to person for the all the other members of the Better Health Team.
Vicki is a warm and popular member of the Better Health Team...and also appears to be the luckiest! A regular visitor to bingo halls across the north east, we are constantly hearing of her ever increasing prize money tally and near 'FULL HOUSE' misses! She loves Yoga and is the very proud Mother of her son Charlie.
Tip: Before we employed Vicki, she was originally one of our patients - an overuse injury sustained by gripping her bingo dabber too tightly and frequently.
Paul is a published Author (latest book on Amazon titled: "The Healthy Habit") and previously worked with Darlington and Middlesbrough football clubs and at the exclusive Woodlands Private Hospital before setting up the Physio Rooms back in 2007.
Paul works extensively with all his physios and spends a vast amount of his time ensuring our treatment plans keep pace with the rapid advancements that make physiotherapy so effective and such a 'go-to' profession for people aged 35-64.
Paul famously teamed up with Man Utd and the England Football team, after being choosen to be the head medical man at the USA based soccer camp, and has even been across to Australia performing a similar role with an elite sporting academy.
Paul is now a regualr panelist on the on the BBC, and a popular health columist for the Northern Echo and the Hartlepool Mail.
Paul is a very proud Dad of a beautiful boy named Harry, and when he's not at work, or spending time with his Son, you can likely find him on his bike, in a swimming pool or out on the streets running.
Tip: Ask Paul about his new book on Amazon, titled "The Healthy habit" - there's something in there for everyone!
Head hunted and hand picked by Paul, all the way back from from India!...That's right, Jonny has already earned a great reputation as a leading sports and muscle physiotherapist on the international stage...and Paul managed to persuade him to quit his job working in professional football in India, to come and be part of our better health team.
He has a proven track record for the fast recovery of muscle injuries, is expertly trained in spinal manipulation (great for lower back injuries) and is our resident health, posture & biomechanics expert. So if you've got a muscle or sports injury, lower pack problem, or neck & shoulder issues, Jonny is the 'go-to' expert for miles around and will be great for you.
One of our specialist physios, BUPA approved and for obvious skill and expert status reasons, one of the most in demand members of the better health team. A wealth of knowledge that can be a valuable asset to your better health.
You can send Jonny an email at: jonny@paulgoughphysio.com
Tip: Ask Jonny about his time living and working in India and his experience of working in one of the busiest places on earth... (Jonny also has an undying love for cats)
Head of the Sports Science department here and a Deep Massage Specialist, Kevan is the "go-to" expert for anyone suffering with tight, tense, torn, stiff or achy MUSCLES (..sports or not).
He is the "king" of the clinic when it comes deep tissue massage, and his number 1 skill is likely to be your best option if you've got anything wrong such as a stiff lower back, neck and shoulder muscles that are tight and in need of a deep rub from skillful hands, a hamstring, calf or achilles tendon problem that needs some urgent and fast action attention.
Paul picked Kevan because of his vast experience working with footballers and knows only too well the frustrations and demands of any sports or exercise enthusiast looking to get back to fitness fast.
When you're with Kevan for treatment, talk to him about his nutrition and diet plans and the ways he can help you get fitter, stronger and faster than anyone else around.
You can email Kevan here: kevan@paulgoughphysio.com
Tip: Talk to Kevan about the time he spent living in South Korea...he's got some interesting stories to tell.
One of our top Sports Therapists here at Paul Gough Physio Rooms, growing up Jordan spent a lot of time having physiotherapy himself!
Playing for a local Cricket Team, Jordan experienced a number of different sports injuries - the worst being a shoulder injury which stopped him from bowling for a year and a half.
Tip: Jordan used to be extremely injury prone... ask him what injuries he's experienced whilst growing up!
One of our Massage Therapists at the Paul Gough Physio Rooms, Sarah was inspired to become a therapist by her running days. Running was something Sarah really loved to do and used to go for several sports massages herself to help maintain good levels of health and fitness, and to reduce the risk of any injuries bringing a halt to her weekly runs.
Sarah has also treated a wide range of professional athletes, and has experiece of working with a football club.
Tip: Sarah is a mum of one and loves to spend her days out with family and at the stables, ask her about her horse, she's a country girl at heart!
Becky has been part of the Paul Gough Team since 2012 and has definitely found her feet. Becky is a keen accountant, as well as a dedicated better health team assistant.
If you call us up, and she answers the phone, don't make her laugh... she never stops once she starts, and her laugh is highly infectious!
Tip: Ask Becky about all the good fortune tellers that's out there (she's seen a lot)
Jessica came to us after working in a firm of solicitors dealing with legal aid family billing and has almost 10 years of office experience.
She LOVE'S the gym, crossift and the buzz she gets from exercising and achieving something she never thought she ever could! Her aim for this year is to master full pull ups!
Tip: Jessica has two pet bunnies who she adores. Her friends call her a "crazy rabbit lady" Don't ask to see them or she'll show you an album of the same sort of pictures saying "Aren't they the cutest rabbits you've ever seen?"
Rachel is our youngest member of the Paul Gough team, and often called Junior.
Rachel is one of our number loving Accountants, when you call into the Hartlepool clinic, Rachel will greet you with a smile and will be more than happy to have a chat with a latte.
Tip: Rachel is a maths genius, we dare you to test her algebra skills.
Amy moved from London to be Paul's Social Media and Marketing girl. All of those crazy videos you see on Facebook, yep... Amy makes us do them.
If you ever need any help setting up a Twitter and Facebook profile, just ask Amy, she'll be able to help!
Tip: Ask Amy what time she wakes up in the morning... We think she's mad.
